Report from Empty Bowls

Susan Frye, the Community Events Director of the Tarrant Area Food Bank reported that over $65,000 for the Tarrant Area Food Bank was raised by the Empty Bowls Project in late February! That is a new record. She would like to thank us for our participation and also encourage us to provide additional bowls for next year's event since everything that is produced by the woodturners is very popular and quickly picked up.  She also attended our last meeting on March 30 to express her thanks for our participation and encourage us to be involved again next year.
